This elegant shirt, beautifully tailored in England is a great example of a classic piece, to compliment you casually or indeed on special occasions. The design is inspired by Manuel Belgrano an Argentine political figure and revolutionary general. He was not always victorious but he remains a hero still to this day. He studied in Europe in elite institutes and promoted education to the masses, he believed that the true wealth of countries was human ingenuity, and that the best way to promote industrialisation was through education. Manuel created his own newspaper that he used to promote his economic ideas such as avoiding importing raw goods to manufacturer when it is available locally. 1812, Manuel Belgrano solicited the triumvirate the use of the white and light blue national cockade,in the Argentinean flag. A legend says Belgrano was inspired by the sky and the clouds when choosing such colours. This piece celebrates him and his triumph.
